Our client is looking to add a PHP Developer to their growing team. Reporting to the CTO, you will design, develop and test software for a variety of systems that interact with their product.
For all work you will need to consider stability, security, confidentiality and defence against automated hacking tactics.

Typical Accountabilities

 Designing and developing systems in PHP
 Peer reviewing code
 Managing project items to completion
 Writing testable code

Competencies

 Experience developing in Object Orientated PHP
 Demonstrable knowledge in PHP Frameworks, ideally Symfony
 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills
 Familiar with source code revision control systems (GIT)
 Focused on output and quality, with a habit of documenting your work
 A good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery)
 Automated testing principles and practices
 Database design

Bonus Skills

 Experience in Agile software development
 Experience of using JIRA to facilitate Agile development
 Linux, Amazon AWS,
 Strong attention to detail
All work is managed through JIRA and code changed through version control systems. Code will be monitored over code coverage metrices and team based sprint velocity.
