We process personal information to enable us to provide advice and professional services as an employment agency, to maintain our own accounts and records and to support and manage our employees.

We are a well-established and trusted company who have been recruiting on behalf of the IT industry since 1988. We have an impeccable record in securing employment by matching the skills of our applicants with our client’s vacancies.

Our company has a legitimate interest in recruiting talented individuals on behalf of a range of clients in the IT industry. We take great care not to prejudice your own interests when recommending you to prospective employers. We do require your consent to provide limited personal data when registering with us as an applicant. This helps us link you to employment opportunities.

When registering with us as an applicant the personal data we collect from you is kept to a minimum. It includes your full name, age, address, email address, driving licence information and a current CV.

We do not request any sensitive information from you, we strongly advise you to check that you have not made any reference to information of a sensitive or serious nature before uploading your CV. E.G Physical or Mental Health, Religion, Membership of a Trades Union, Ethnicity etc. Such issues may well be touched upon in job application forms, during interviews, or when agreeing terms with prospective employers, we do not process this type of personal data on their behalf.

All of our clients are based within the UK. We do not transfer personal data to clients in other countries either within or outside of the European Economic Area.

When you register with us initially you are categorised as an applicant and your personal data is listed as such. Once we have successfully placed you with an employee your personal data is updated to reflect the change. We contact every applicant annually to ascertain if they still wish to remain registered with us, and to ensure the personal data we hold is accurate and up to date. We retain the personal data of those applicants who have been successfully placed with our clients for up to 7 years for accounting purposes. The data base relating to our clients is reviewed on a monthly basis.

We acknowledge your right to request confirmation regarding the personal data we hold about you, your right to be provided with copies, also a number of other rights such as a request for us to stop processing your personal data or to have it removed from our data base. You can exercise these rights by contacting the company at its registered address either in writing or by email, we may require further proof of your identity before acting upon your request.

We also respect your right to withdraw your consent for us to process your personal data at any time. Should you wish to exercise this right we will remove your personal data from our data base as soon as possible.

You also have the right to complain to the regulatory body for the UK, the Information Commissioners Office, if you believe we have breached the data protection act.
